Elena Vera DVM MRCVS
I graduated from the University of Parma, Italy in 2013, and then spent two years as an ambulatory equine vet in Italy before moving to Belgium, where I completed a rotating internship at the Equine Veterinary Teaching Hospital of Liege. My main interests are diagnostic imaging and orthopaedics. Last year (2019) I started the ISELP certification (International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology) to improve my clinical skills and become ISELP certified. I started at Blaircourt in January 2020, having spent the previous year in Newmarket undertaking an imaging internship at Rossdales Diagnostic Centre. In my spare time I enjoy riding my showjumper, Lily, who has accompanied me on my travels to Belgium and the UK. I also enjoy travelling, cinema and spending time with my young nephews in London.
