Vlad Herbeiu

I grew up in the vibrant city of Timișoara, Romania, but some of my fondest memories come from summers spent in the countryside with my grandparents on their cattle farm. Both of my grandfathers were Veterinary Technicians, and it was there, immersed in the rhythms of farm life, that my passion for veterinary medicine first took root.

I pursued my studies at the University of Life Sciences in Timișoara, where I graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2023. Shortly after qualifying, I moved to England to begin my career with an internship at Newmarket Equine Hospital. During my year there, I gained valuable experience in equine intensive and emergency care. In the summer of 2024, I joined Blaircourt and further on I would like to focus on lameness, orthopedics, and performance issues, areas that I find both challenging and rewarding.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing the guitar, shooting hoops on the basketball court, and winding down by cooking a delicious meal with my girlfriend.

I am thrilled to be part of the Blaircourt team and look forward to helping your horses perform and feel their best!
